We believe that people should have the opportunity to volunteer in the area where they feel passionate and gifted. With so many programs and services, the opportunities at Good Sam are endless. Volunteers are needed to mentor, lead classes, tutor, sort inventory, provide childcare, clean, enter data and assist with other administrative projects. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals as well as groups. Families, small groups, classes, sports teams, and organizations are able to come to Good Samaritan Family Services to serve in a variety of ways.
Pantry & Resale
The Pantry and Resale Shop is staffed by roughly 90 volunteers. The jobs include a variety of tasks such as picking up food and donated items, sorting clothing, helping folks fill out forms, and stocking shelves.
His House is looking for Christian men that would like to share their time and talents with young dads. Do you enjoy wood working, sports, the outdoors? You might be able to encourage a young man.
Good Samaritan Family Services is governed by a volunteer board of directors who oversee the work of the ministry through close collaboration with the program directors.
